The COLOR of Fun. ColorFunFest takes the concept of Holi, a traditional colorful festival held mostly in India, and transforms it into a 5K run.
The run is not timed so there’s no need to sweat off the color powder and fun. Though it probably won’t make you a better runner, it’ll more likely give you a memorable experience you won’t forget.
There will be a morning run and a night run with neon colored powder that will be sure to give you an unforgettable experience. So come color the day and brighten the night with us!

You run and have the time of your life through a FunFest of colors thrown around you!
An awesome 5K course will be laid out. Every kilometer there will be a station that will throw a different color on you and at the very end there will be a massive celebration with colors flying everywhere. Pretty much, it’ll look like a rainbow fell onto the earth.
Be sure to wear a white shirt you’re okay with getting COLORED on. That means leave the wedding dress, tuxedos, and your company polos at home (unless your job is boring and you want to color it up some when you go back to work Monday morning). Bring your bib, friends, colored powder, and all the excitement you’ve had to contain for weeks because this is where it all comes out!
Although it will probably wash out fairly well, we’re still going to say yes. It’s better safe than sorry. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting colored in!
Absolutely! What fun is there if you do it by yourself? Plus, you save some money. Teams of 4 or more take 5 bucks off registration so grab your buddies and buddies’ buddies!
Bring a photo ID of yourself and copies of ID’s of those who you’re picking up for. Yes, you may also pickup packets for friends, family, and team members.
You can pick up your packet on race day as well. Be sure to arrive early though to avoid the race-day rush.
Nope. As much as we would like to see a rainbow colored dog, please leave all your pets at home.
Yes, but start at the very back please. We would like you to keep your children safe from the crazy stampede of people jumping into the air and prancing around in color.
Not very old. However, anybody younger than 18 will need to have their parents or guardian sign their waiver for them.
If your kid is 7 or under they can just come without registering! They just won’t get a shirt and colored powder so make sure to share your goodies with them.
Yes, it is made from food grade corn starch so it is safe and natural. All the powder is non-irritant, non-toxic, and confirms to European Standard (EN71-3).
No refunds but since we’re nice, we’ll most likely offer transfers. So if you can’t make it for some odd reason, we’ll let your friend or family member have fun instead.
Go to myevents.active.com and login to your account. Choose the option “Transfer registration to another athlete” and then enter the email address of the person you are transferring it to. Or click on the link in your registration confirmation email that says “transfer to someone else” and it will prompt you to put the email address in for the person you are transferring it to. Once they claim their registration, it will refund your payment (minus the active.com processing fee) and ask the person receiving the transfer to pay the CURRENT price of the registration. Transferring will be available up until a week before the race.

Yes! Each participant joining your team will receive $5 off their registration. Even those who join the team at a later time.
